| 概要 | Invitation We are pleased to inform you that the 9th International Symposium on Aero-aqua Bio-Mechanisms (ISABMEC2024) will be held from November 26th to 29th 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The ISABMEC is a unique series of international symposia started by The Society of Aero Aqua BioMechanisms (ABMECH), aiming at bridging across biologists, scientists and engineers and advancing the interdisciplinary fields of novel mechanisms in biological systems and biomimetics. Our past symposia (Honolulu 2000, Honolulu 2003, Okinawa 2006, Shanghai 2009, Taipei 2012, Honolulu 2014, Tokyo 2018 and Online symposia 2022) have been successful in attracting about 600 participants from more than 10 countries (Japan, USA, UK, China, Korea, Taiwan, Netherlands, Israel, Germany, etc.). The ISABMEC 2024 in Bangkok will be a memorable event for colleagues and friends from all over the world to establish friendships and to promote academic exchanges at an international and interdisciplinary level. In particular, we would like to emphasize that this symposium will be made possible by the strong support of Kasetsart University, Thailand. On behalf of the Steering Committee of the Society for Aero Aqua Bio-mechanisms, we would like to thank all the staff members of Kasetsart University. The Symposium Organizing Committee sincerely welcomes your participation in the Symposium. We sincerely hope that a meaningful meeting with many participants will be realized in Bangkok.
