Recruitment of an Assistant Professor – Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University
Outline:
Kyushu University is seeking an experienced individual with expertise in teaching and research for appointment as a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in the Laboratory of Marine Biology, Division of Animal and Marine Biosciences, Department of Bioresource Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture. The Division of Animal and Marine Biosciences is promoting education and research aiming at the effective production and sustained utilization of animal and marine bioresources.
The laboratory of Marine Biology deals with education and research on life science in the field of fish reproductive biology for fisheries and aquaculture as the main objective, and is focusing on the following subjects:
(1) Research in molecular and cellular mechanisms for reproduction of aquatic bioresources.
(2) Development of reproductive and molecular breeding technologies for sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
(3) Contribution to sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture in Asia and other regions.
The assistant professor to be employed are seeking those who can be active in the above fields.
