Aquaculture biology (especially studies on fish reproductive physiology through the approaches of molecular biology, cell biology, and functional morphology, as well as the application of these studies to aquaculture-technology development for important species in aquaculture industry)

4. Job responsibilities

[Immediately after hiring]
 At the Graduate School of Fisheries Sciences: Teaching graduate students in aquaculture biology (lectures, laboratory works, seminars, practical training, etc.)
 At the School of Fisheries Sciences: Teaching undergraduate students in the Department of Aquaculture Life Science (lectures, laboratory work, seminars, practical training, etc.)
 General education: Teaching undergraduate students in fisheries sciences
 Engaging in administrative duties in the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences

5. Qualifications

(1) Ph.D. at the time of appointment
(2) Excellent achievements and publications in the research field
(3) Ability to give lectures in graduate and undergraduate courses
(4) Strong motivation for education, research, and other duties related to the management of the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences
(5) Japanese and English language proficiency (business level or above)

7. Probation period

Three months

8. Salary

Determined in accordance with the National University Corporation Hokkaido University Salary Rules for Faculty Subject to Annual Salary System.

*The working hours for a day are deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes.
